Beer League Lacrosse, LLC ("we", "us") runs an adult recreational lacrosse league in Bonney Lake, Washington, and this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site or play in the league, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you register for a season, sign up for a game, buy gear, or use the Player Zone, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your date of birth, to confirm you are 18 or older.
- An emergency contact's name and phone number.
- Your playing position, your answers to the registration questionnaire, and a profile photo if you add one.
- For the winter box season, your USA Lacrosse membership number and its expiration date.
- Your typed signature on the league waiver and related documents, with the date signed.
- Your order history: what you paid for, when, and how. We never see or store card numbers (see Payments).
- Messages, photos and videos you post in league or team chat, and your reactions and poll votes.
- If you turn notifications on, the subscription details your browser gives us to deliver them.
- Basic technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, that our hosting provider records to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To run registration, build rosters and schedules, and let you into games you've signed up for.
- To confirm eligibility and insurance coverage, including USA Lacrosse membership status for the winter box season.
- To contact you about games, schedule changes and your registration, and to reach your emergency contact if something happens at a game.
- To take payments, issue refunds and keep the league's books.
- To show your name, photo, position, team and stats on public roster and standings pages. Your contact details, date of birth and emergency contact are never shown publicly.
- To run league and team chat.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout page; they never pass through or get stored on our site. Stripe's handling of your information is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising networks or analytics trackers. We share information only with the services that run the site:
- Stripe: payments and refunds.
- Supabase: our database and file storage (photos, waiver documents, chat media).
- Resend: the emails we send you (confirmations, your player ID, waitlist notices).
- Vercel: hosting for the website.
- USA Lacrosse: to confirm membership status for the winter box season.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of players and the league.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and roster information while you're part of the league, and payment and waiver records for as long as tax, insurance and legal obligations require. Photos and videos posted in chat are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Your choices); we'll remove what we can while keeping records we're required to retain.
Your choices
- Update your profile, photo and answers in the Player Zone.
- Turn notifications off in the Player Zone or in your browser settings.
- Email us at beerleaguelacrosse@gmail.com to ask for a copy of your information or to have it deleted.
Age
The league is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS everywhere. Personal information is only visible to league administrators, and we never store card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe your information has been exposed, contact us right away.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
